Change happens generationally, incrementally, and in non-linear ways.

We offer direct support and healing modalities to movement leaders recovering from relational and institutional harm. 

Healing Justice & Community Care

As Within, Soul Without provides a framework and curriculum to guide leaders to pause, zoom in and out, express, release, and restore the spirit. This ecosystem of support from within our communities further builds upon our ability to serve and care for ourselves. 

This integrative program is grounded in our spiritual praxis, radical politics and agroecological principles with the understanding that healing is critical to sustaining the movements for food, land, and climate justice.

SOUL REGENERATION

In 2022, we held our first cohort of Black leaders in a year-long collective practice of emotional and work support, shared decision-making, and community care as mutual aid. Cohort members received a monthly stipend for their participation and had access to a healing stipend to independently explore their modalities of choice.

We also hosted our first healing event, Soul ReGeneration, for over 60 attendees, all of whom were Black & Brown women and gender expansive individuals leading land stewardship, climate justice, and/or food justice work. At this free event, attendees explored a range of healing modalities with all Black women practitioners. Soul ReGeneration is our values in practice, centering healing, abundance, and economic justice so our communities may tend to their own sacred gardens.

SOUL REINTEGRATION

Soul ReIntegration launched in 2025 to provide Black & Brown leaders with creative tools to reflect, process, and build camaraderie. We facilitated a nine month-long cohort to heal neglected wounds and access possibilities that energize them to keep moving forward. This program included two in-person retreats and six virtual “studio sessions” where cohort members participated in self-reflection and parallel creativity.

The foundation for this cohort program is our forthcoming publication, Soul ReIntegration: An Artistic Self-Exploration & Healing Journey Curriculum Guidebook. Soul ReIntegration facilitates this merging of where worlds meet - where the advocate is the artist and the healer is ourselves. Where creation in service to the self is inherently in service to the movement.
